Las Vegas

I'm very excited to announce that my spring break trip to Las Vegas is only two weeks away! Sarah was able to get tickets for Penn and Teller for Saturday night. I'm so looking foreward to seeing them, their HBO show "Bull Shit" was amazing and I hope the use the same wit on stage. We will be staying at the Luxor and the Venetian, and we will drive back through the desert to see the sights between Las Vegas and Coeur D'Alene.

Desperation

I read Stephen King's Desperation. I novel about a young boy with a close enough relationship to God that God tells him how to defeat an ancient God of the desert that is trapped in the body of the local Sheriff. I love Stephen King's writing style but I found this book mind numbingly boring. I only finished it because I kept hoping for an amazing ending. I wasn't entirely disappointed. The movie was abysmal though, the young man playing David Carver ( the main character) acted like William Shatner. Steve Weber was a main character though, and as always his performance was a cut above the rest.
